Scope of Work
Project improvements include extending the existing express lanes north from just south of Broward Boulevard to just north of Commercial Boulevard in Broward County. One lane will be added and the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane will be converted to create two express lanes in each direction. Other work includes: installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and tolling equipment; widening bridges; and installing noise barrier walls at locations along I-95 Southbound between Broward Boulevard and NW 6th Street, and along I-95 Northbound between Powerline Road and Commercial Boulevard.
