Scope of Work
Project improvements will include extending the existing express lanes north from just north of Commercial Boulevard to just south of SW 10th Street in Broward County. One lane will be added and the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane will be converted to create two express lanes in each direction. This project includes ramp signalization from Cypress Creek Road to Sample Road. Other work includes: installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and tolling equipment; widening bridges; and installing noise barrier walls at locations along I-95 Northbound between Atlantic Boulevard and Sample Road, and along I-95 Southbound north of Sample Road.
