Scope of Work
Project improvements include removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway and upgrading signs and pavement markings, upgrading crosswalk ramps to meet ADA requirements and upgrading existing pedestrian signals, adding sharrow pavement markings (share the road arrows) to the travel lane in each direction from NW 1st Street to NW 4th Street, widening the existing roadway to add six-foot wide bike lanes in each direction from NW 4th Street to NW 6th Street / Sistrunk Boulevard, adding pedestrian solar lighting, adding new concrete curb and gutter and improving roadway drainage system, constructing new eight-foot wide sidewalks, upgrading existing traffic signals to pole mounted signals, and improving landscaping.
