Scope of Work: Project improvements included widening University Drive to add a single northbound auxiliary lane from south of Nova Drive to the westbound  I-595 on-ramp, added a second left turn lane from eastbound Nova Drive to northbound University Drive, added a second right turn lane from westbound Nova Drive to northbound University Drive, replacing the existing signals at the NW, NE, and SE corner of University Drive and Nova Drive, replacing the mast arm signal on the east side of University Drive at SW 23rd Street, removing old asphalt and resurfacing the existing pavement, upgraded the existing drainage system, installed an additional overhead sign on northbound University Drive to direct motorists to the westbound I-595 on-ramp, and upgrading pedestrian ramps and sidewalks to meet current ADA standards.
