Scope of Work:
Milling, resurfacing, and restriping of roadway pavement.
Construction of 7-foot separated bicycle lanes in both directions.
Construction of a signalized mid-block crossing east of Urquhart Street.
Provision of high emphasis crosswalks at signalized intersections.
Widening of the existing sidewalk to 8-13 feet.
Curb ramp improvements to meet standards.
Drainage, ponding, and roadway depression repairs.
Construction of median separators at 6 unsignalized intersections.
Landscape improvements and lighting upgrades.
Median Modifications at Cooley Court, Corrigan Court/Foss Road, Coconut Road, Gulfstream Road, Mar Mak Drive and 3200 Block.
Construction Impacts:
Construction will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
Work zone length will be always limited to the distance from one signalized intersection to another with only one active work zone.
Local impacts such as events, holidays and peak seasons will be considered.
Temporary lane closures will occur during nonāpeak hours on non-event days.
