Scope of Work:
Milling and repaving the roadway throughout the project limits, including overbuild between Brazilian Ave. and SR 704/Royal Palm Way, to enhance infrastructure resilience and improve safety for the community
Replacing traffic signals with decorative mast arms at Golfview Rd./Hammon Ave., Worth Ave., and Peruvian Ave., and with standard mast arms at the Town of Palm Beach Fire Station, and SR 704/Royal Palm Way to improve infrastructure resiliency and enhance motorist safety
Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdowns at Golfview Rd./Hammon Ave., Worth Ave., Peruvian Ave., and SR 704/Royal Palm Way
Installing drainage improvements just south of SR-80/Southern Blvd., just north of El Vedado Rd., and at SR 704/Royal Palm Way for enhanced drainage capacity
Upgrading roadway lighting throughout the project limits including decorative lighting at Worth Ave., Peruvian Ave., Chilean Ave., Australian Ave., and Brazilian Ave.
Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity
Upgrading signage and pavement markings, including shared bicycle marking or “sharrows,” to enhance visibility and safety
Construction Impacts:
Work will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public
Daytime lane closures are permitted the Monday before Thanksgiving through April 30th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; all other times from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Lane closures will utilize flaggers to direct traffic as needed
Sidewalk and curb ramp closures will be implemented as needed, restricting access to one direction of travel at a time
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times
