- Date: Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
- In-Person Location: Sebastian Community Center, 1805 North Central Avenue, Sebastian, FL 32958. This meeting will have an informal open house format.
Scope of Work:
- Repaving the roadway
- Installing pedestrian countdown signal features at signalized intersections
- Reconstructing sidewalk curb ramps
- Upgrading lighting to better illuminate pedestrian crosswalks at signalized intersections
- Installing sidewalks at the northern end of the project limits
- Upgrading signing and pavement markings
Construction Impacts:
- Construction will occur in phases to reduce the impacts on the community.
- Lane closures will occur with one lane in each direction always maintained.
- Roadway repaving will be performed at nighttime.
- Driveway access to SR 5/US 1 will be maintained throughout construction.
- Access to emergency services, businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
- Notification will be provided in advance for bus stop relocations.
