Hurricane Irma Repair Improvements Project

NW 136 Avenue and SR-84 Intersection Improvements Project in Davie, Plantation, and Sunrise

Restrictions:

All traffic lanes along NW 136th Avenue will be shifted west onto the newly constructed southbound bridge to begin work on the northbound bridge. Traffic will be in this configuration until late 2020.

Westbound SR 84 approaching NW 136th Avenue will have one right turn lane closed, through August 2020, for the installation of drill shafts and widening of SR 84.

City of Hollywood Mobility Improvements Project

The inside lane will be closed in each direction along Park Road, from Washington Street to Johnson Street, during construction.

The outside westbound lane of Hollywood Boulevard from N 35th Avenue to South Academy Circle will be temporarily closed through August 2020, for water main and drainage installations.

The middle and inside southbound lane will be closed along N Park Road, from Fillmore Street to Hollywood Boulevard through August 2020, for widening, concrete, milling & resurfacing, signing and pavement markings.

Southwest Broward Mobility Improvements Project

Restrictions:

One lane in each direction of N 56th Avenue from Sheridan Street to Douglas Street will be closed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for widening operations. Detours might be implemented through adjacent roads if necessary, to improve safety. Flaggers will be present and detour signs will be in place to direct motorists around the work zone.

Pedestrian signal improvements will take place at the intersections of S 56th Avenue/N 56th Avenue with Pembroke Road, Washington Street, Hollywood Boulevard, Johnson Street, Taft Street, Sheridan Street, and Stirling Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Workers will be present and lane closures will be place in the vicinity to direct motorists around the work zone.
