In-Person Location: Hobe Sound Civic Center, 8980 SE Olympus Street, Hobe Sound, Florida 33455. This meeting will have an informal open house format.

PROPOSED ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS:
- Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure.
- Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity.
- Improve drainage at the SE Bridge Road and Petty Street intersections and locations along the corridor where there is standing water today.
- Upgrade all guardrail along the corridor to current standards to prevent errant vehicles from leaving the road, improving safety.
- Modify the existing curb returns and ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards to facilitate improved access for users with disabilities.
- Construct sidewalk from Highbourne Way to the Jonathan Dickinson State Park entrance 600-feet to the south.
PROPOSED SUN TRAIL IMPROVEMENT:
- Construct a 12-foot paved shared use path for bicyclists and pedestrians, physically separated from vehicular traffic, along the west side of US 1 from Bridge Road to Osprey Street.
CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
- Daytime and nighttime work will be performed within the project limits.
- Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during construction.
- Another public meeting (Construction Open House) will be held prior to construction. Detailed information about how to keep informed of potential construction impacts will be provided at this meeting.
