Scope of Work:
- Reconfigure existing full median opening to a directional median by constructing a raised median separator.
Construction Impacts:
- Daytime, temporary, single lane closures will occur to construct the raised median. The left turn lanes will also be temporarily closed to fully construct the median improvements. NB traffic needing to access Morningside Dr. will be required to complete a U-turn.
- Traffic exiting Morningside Drive that desires to turn north on US-1 will be required to initially turn south and seek the left turn lane at Mariner Sands Drive to complete the required U-turn (SB-to-NB) movement.
