Current I-95 lane closures in Palm Beach County

May 15 - May 22, 2020

I-95 from south of SW 10th Street to south of Glades Road

Restrictions:

I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, between SW 10th Street and Glades Road, as needed, Sunday through Thursday, with the first lane closing at 8:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 9:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 10:30 p.m. until 7 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Camino Real at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 northbound, Hillsboro Boulevard, and Military Trail. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Palmetto Park Road and South Dixie Highway. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please note that ramp closures will be performed as needed per nighttime construction operations; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


I-95 from south of Glades Road to south of Linton Boulevard and SR 808/Glades Road from Renaissance Way to West University Drive in the Cities of Boca Raton and Delray Beach (95 Express Phase 3B-2)

Restrictions:

I-95 will have up to four lanes closed in each direction nightly as needed for paving, 9 p.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and the third and fourth lane will close at 10 p.m.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Powerline Road and Jog Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via US-1. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Powerline Road and Jog Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via US-1. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Yamato Road and I-95 southbound. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Palmetto Park and I-95 northbound. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Linton Boulevard will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Westbound traffic will be detoured via Military Trail and Yamato Road, eastbound traffic will be detoured via SR 5/North Federal Highway and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

Please note that ramp closures will be closed as needed per paving production; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


I-95 Interchange Improvements at Atlantic Avenue

Restrictions:

Atlantic Avenue from 13th Avenue to NW 23rd Avenue will have two through lanes closed daily, as needed, 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and nightly, as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Saturday.

Advanced Notice: Beginning 5 a.m., Tuesday morning, May 26, westbound Atlantic Avenue approaching I-95 will have a new configuration. The northernmost, or far right lane, of westbound Atlantic Avenue just west of NW 12th Avenue will be designated as I-95 entrance ramp ingress only. Vehicles traveling in this lane will no longer be able to perform a through movement to continue west on Atlantic Avenue due to the installation of a concrete traffic separator; this lane will be exclusively designated for vehicles wishing to access I-95 northbound or southbound. Please note that the decision point for this movement will need to be made before motorists reach NW 12th Avenue. Please see detour flyer attached.

The Atlantic Avenue north sidewalk from 12th Avenue to NW 23 Avenue is closed completely for roadway reconstruction. Pedestrians will be detoured to the south sidewalk via existing crosswalks.

Congress Avenue from NW 1st Street to Atlantic Avenue may have one lane closed in either direction nightly, as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

NW 12th Avenue will have the westbound turn lane closed, nightly as needed, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday night.

The signals at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Atlantic Avenue will be de-energized for new traffic light installation nightly as needed, 10 p.m. until 10 a.m., Monday night, May 18 and Wednesday night, May 27 if needed. Law Enforcement Officers will be on site to direct traffic during this operation.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Atlantic Avenue will have one lane closed nightly, as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.


Improvements of Gateway Boulevard at SR-9/I-95 From east of High Ridge Road to east of I-95 in the City of Boynton Beach

Restrictions:

Gateway Boulevard, from east of High Ridge Road to east of I-95 may have one lane closed, daily, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and nightly, 7 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
