Current Construction Lane Closures in Northern Palm Beach County

Congress Avenue Lighting Improvements Project

Restrictions:

One outside lane may be closed in each direction, daily, 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and nightly, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday night through Friday, through October.

Southbound sidewalk closures & detour information: Congress Avenue from W. 13th Street to State Road 710 will have the southbound sidewalk closed (west side of roadway) through December 2019. DETOUR: Pedestrians may cross at the W. 13th Street/Congress Avenue intersection to access the sidewalk on the east side of Congress Avenue to travel south. Please see flyer attached.

Northbound sidewalk closures and detour information: Congress Avenue from W. 13th Street to Blue Heron Boulevard will have the northbound sidewalk closed (east side of roadway) through December 2019. DETOUR: Pedestrians may cross at the W. 13th Street/Congress Avenue intersection to access the sidewalk on the west side of Congress Avenue to travel north. Congress Avenue from JFK North to State Road 710 will have the northbound sidewalk closed (east side of roadway) through December 2019. DETOUR: Pedestrians may cross at the JFK North/Congress Avenue intersection to access the sidewalk on the west side of Congress Avenue to travel north. Please see flyer attached. Blue Heron Boulevard Bridge Fender Replacement Project

Restrictions:

All lanes are open on the bridge. Please note, crews may be working in the channel, Monday through Sunday, with a half channel closure to stage equipment. For more information, please contact Community Outreach Specialist Meredith Cruz at 561-641-6440.


Indiantown Road Intersection Improvements, from Island Way to US 1

Restrictions:

One lane may be closed in each direction, daily, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, with up to two lanes closed in each direction, nightly, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning. Crews will be working at various signalized intersections as needed throughout the project corridor. 

Portions of the sidewalk may be closed day and night for underground activities, as needed, with pedestrian detours in place. For more information, please contact Community Outreach Specialist Meredith Cruz at 561-641-6440. 

Permit Work Unrelated to the Construction Project

Traffic Impact: Eastbound Indiantown Road at the intersection of Maplewood Drive, in Jupiter, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Dec. 20, 1 of 3 lanes closed, for entranceway and street lighting improvements. For more information, please contact Chris Goordineer 772-204-6024.

Traffic Impact: Westbound Indiantown Road between Intracoastal Pointe Drive and North Hepburn Avenue, in Jupiter, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Jan. 7, 1 of 3 lanes closed, for installation of new concrete poles. For more information, please contact Rob Taylor 772-205-9932.

Traffic Impact: Eastbound Indiantown Road between South Delaware Boulevard and South Loxahatchee Drive, in Jupiter, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday through Friday, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 through Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, 1 of 3 lanes closed then 2 of 3 lanes closed, for removal of existing wood poles and replace concrete poles and maintenance. For more information, please contact Rob Taylor 772-205-9932 or Renee Pepe 772-302-9594.
