Current Construction Lane Closures in Southern Palm Beach County

I-95 from south of SW 10th Street to south of Glades Road

Restrictions:

I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday, between SW 10th Street and Glades Road, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Camino Real at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

I-95 Northbound Full Closure Advanced Notice: I-95 northbound lanes at Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed to traffic overnight, 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday, October 27 through Thursday, October 31 to shift traffic to the newly constructed northbound segment and bridge over Hillsboro Canal. Traffic will be detoured via the northbound exit ramp to Hillsboro Boulevard west, Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached.

Ramp Impact:

Full Weekend Ramp Closure Notice: The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will undergo a full, around-the-clock closure, from 5 a.m. Saturday morning, October 12 through 5 a.m., Monday morning, October 14 for ramp reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured via the northbound exit ramp to Hillsboro Boulevard west, Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Palmetto Park Road and South Dixie Highway. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please note that ramp closures will be performed as needed per nighttime construction operations; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


Spanish River Boulevard Bridge Painting over the Intracoastal Waterway

Restrictions:

One westbound lane may be closed, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with one eastbound lane closed, 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday, through October. Please note, one lane will remain open in each direction during this time.

Lane closures may be needed on the access road under the bridge, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday, through October. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic during this time.

Three (3) remaining weekends of full closures to continue this weekend, 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, westbound lanes only: The Spanish River Boulevard Bridge will undergo three (3) remaining weekends of full closures in October to conduct lock repair and maintenance work. Only one (1) of two (2) bridge spans will be closed in each direction each weekend, to allow for pedestrian and first responder access at all times. The closure will begin at 5 a.m. Saturday morning, ending at 5 a.m. the following Monday morning. At this time, the westbound lanes are expected to be closed Oct. 12 to Oct. 14, eastbound lanes closed Oct. 19 to Oct. 21, and westbound lanes closed Oct. 26 to Oct. 28. Motorists may detour northbound to Linton Boulevard, or southbound to Palmetto Park Road. The entrance and exit on Spanish River Boulevard at Sea Ranch Club of Boca will also be closed during the westbound closures; the entrance and exit on State Road A1A will remain open. Should inclement weather affect operations, the closure will be rescheduled for the following weekend until completed. Please see detour flyer attached. US 1 Improvements Project from George Bush Boulevard to Murano Bay Drive

State Road 7 Resurfacing Improvements Project from Atlantic Avenue to Boynton Beach Boulevard

Restrictions:

Boynton Beach Boulevard Improvements Project from Congress Avenue to west of Jog Road

Restrictions:

The eastbound and westbound inside lane, from Military Trail to Platina Avenue (Platina Country Club Trail) and Cedar Point Boulevard (Cedar Point North), will undergo an around-the-clock full closure, beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, reopening by 5:30 p.m. Friday, weekly, through mid to late October. Please note all lanes will be open Saturday and Sunday.

The Lawrence Road intersection will have one lane closed in each direction, 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through mid to late October.

Advanced notice: Beginning Monday, Oct. 21, the eastbound and westbound inside lane, from Military Trail to Bent Tree Drive (Bent Tree West), will undergo an around-the-clock full closure, beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, reopening by 5:30 p.m. Friday, weekly, through October. Once work begins, the median opening and turn lanes at Bent Tree Drive will also be closed around-the-clock through October, to allow for new turn lane and median construction. Once this work is completed, the operations will move east and begin at Pear Tree Circle (Bent Tree Villas East and Lime Tree Condominiums) in late mid to late November.

Utility Work Unrelated to the Construction Project:

Boynton Beach Boulevard, between Military Trail and Congress Avenue, in Boynton Beach, may have one lane closed in each direction, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Oct. 25, for installation of conduit and underground directional bore. For more information, please contact Jay Fisher 321-423-3980.


US 1 Improvements Project from Hypoluxo Road to Waterway Drive

Restrictions:

One outside northbound lane may be closed, around-the-clock, in a 600-foot section only, beginning at 3 a.m. Monday, ending by 7 a.m. Saturday, for power pole relocation, curb and sidewalk replacement operations, and pedestrian signal improvements, as needed through October.

One outside southbound lane may be closed, in a 600-foot section only, 10 p.m. nightly, through 1 p.m. the following day, Sunday night through Friday, for curb and sidewalk replacement operations, and pedestrian signal improvements, as needed through October.

Median installation: Beginning Sunday night, Oct. 13, one inside lane may be closed in each direction between Pine Street and Waterway Drive, 8 p.m. until 7 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning, through October, for median installation.
