Current Construction Lane Closures in Martin County

Kanner Highway / State Road 76 from Lost River Road to south of Monterey Road

Restrictions:

  • All lanes are open through June 21.


State Road 710 / Warfield Boulevard from east of Kanner Highway (State Road 76) to the Martin / Palm Beach County Line

Restrictions:

  • One lane in either direction of SR 710 may be intermittently closed Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for roadway widening. Two-way traffic will be maintained by a flag crew.

  • Westbound traffic on SR 710 is shifted, utilizing the newly constructed roadway, to facilitate roadway construction. One lane of traffic is maintained in each direction.

  • The speed limit at the transition area on State Road 710 just west of the Palm Beach County Line is reduced from 60 MPH to 45 MPH.

  • The speed limit at the transition area on State Road 710 just east of Kanner Highway is reduced from 60 MPH to 40 MPH.


I-95 Resurfacing Project from Bridge Road (Exit 96) to Indiantown Road (Exit 87)

Restrictions:

  • Up to two lanes in either direction of I-95 from Indiantown Road to Bridge Road will be closed Sunday through Thursday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving.


U.S. 1 (State Road 5) from North of SE Salerno Road to North of SE Fischer Street

Restrictions:

  • This project was completed on June 13. All lanes are open through June 21.


Kanner Highway / State Road 76 from south of Pratt Whitney Road (County Road 711) to SW Jack James Drive

Restrictions:

  • The speed limit on Kanner Highway from south of Pratt Whitney Road to SW Jack James Drive has been temporarily reduced from 50 MPH to 45 MPH. This speed limit reduction will be in place through the end of the project.

  • One lane in either direction of Kanner Highway from Pratt Whitney Road to SW Jack James Drive may be closed intermittently Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for clearing & grubbing and drainage work. For lane closures on Kanner Highway where there is only one existing lane in each direction, two-way traffic will be maintained by a flag crew.


State Road A1A / NE Ocean Boulevard from State Road 732 / Jensen Beach Boulevard to East of the Ernest Lyons Bridge

Restrictions:

  • The southbound lane of State Road A1A may be closed Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Jun. 28 for sidewalk work. Two-way traffic will be maintained by a flag crew.

  • The southbound bike lane is closed through fall 2019 to facilitate sidewalk construction. During this time, cyclists & motorists should share the road.


I-95 Lighting and Roadway Improvements Project

Restrictions:

  • All lanes are open through June 21.


Jensen Beach Boulevard Shoulder Widening and Resurfacing Project, from U.S. 1 to Savannah Road

Restrictions:

  • Open House: The Construction Open House will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Jensen Beach Community Center, 1912 NE Jensen Beach Boulevard, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. Project personnel will be on hand to discuss the scope of work, construction schedule, and address questions and comments one-on-one. There will not be a formal presentation. Guests may arrive at any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.


U.S. 1 / Roosevelt Bridge from Wright Boulevard to SW Joan Jefferson Way in Stuart

Restrictions:

  • One southbound lane of U.S. 1 will be closed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jun. 21 for utility work. During this time, the southbound sidewalk and bike lane will be closed as well. Pedestrians will be detoured at the nearest signalized intersections, and cyclists should use caution when riding along U.S. 1.


U.S. 1 from Baker Road to St. Lucie Avenue in Stuart

Restrictions:

  • Starting Wednesday, June 19, one northbound lane of U.S. 1 will be closed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Jul. 2 for utility work.
