Nighttime lane closures will be needed on northbound lanes between PGA Boulevard and Donald Ross Road to accommodate project-related sign repair. Beginning on Friday, April 20, up to three lanes will be closed as needed to complete this work. At least two lanes will be open on I-95 at all times.

Up to two lanes in each direction of I-95 will be closed as needed from south of PGA Boulevard to south of Donald Ross Road, Sunday, March 25, through Saturday, March 31, for shoulder and median work, construction of safety grooves, and placement of traffic monitoring devices, weather permitting. One lane will close at 9 p.m., and a second lane at 11 p.m. The first lane will reopen by 5 a.m., and all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. At least three northbound and three southbound lanes will remain open at all times.

One northbound and one southbound lane on Military Trail underneath I-95 will be closed as needed, Sunday, March 25, through Sunday, April 1, and the northbound and southbound center lanes will be closed 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, March 26, through Thursday, March 29, for sign placement, painting, striping and bridge work.

There will be periodic closures to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp at Military Trail, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, March 25, through Thursday, March 29, for shoulder work, striping and painting. When the entrance ramp is closed, drivers will be directed south to PGA Boulevard, then east to the I-95 entrance ramp.

The work will determine if the inside or outside lane is closed 24-hours-a-day.

There will be no lane closures from 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 23, through 6 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Two northbound and two southbound lanes on I-95 from south of PGA Boulevard to south of Donald Ross Road will be closed nights Sunday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 22, for repaving and restriping, weather permitting. Either the inside or outside lanes will close at 9 p.m., and the center lanes will close at 11 p.m. The center lanes will reopen by 5 a.m., and all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. The repaving schedule will determine if the inside or outside lanes will be closed. Also, there will be brief closures to the I-95 entrance and exit ramps at PGA Boulevard and Military Trail when paving crews are passing these areas.

The contractor anticipates opening new high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes and new general purpose lanes on I-95 from south of PGA Boulevard to south of Donald Ross Road the week of Sunday, Dec. 18, or early January, weather permitting. Except for emergencies, there will be no lane closures from 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 23, through 6 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

The northbound and southbound center lanes on Military Trail will be closed 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 22, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, through Friday, Dec. 23, for bridge work, repaving and restriping. At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

There will be closures to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp at Military Trail 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 22, for repaving and restriping. Each ramp is expected to be closed for up to two nights. Only one ramp will be closed at a time. The specific nights for closure will be determined by the paving schedule.

When the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Military Trail is closed, traffic will be directed south to PGA Boulevard, then east to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp, a detour of less than one mile.

When the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Military Trail is closed, traffic will be directed to south to the I-95 exit ramp at PGA Boulevard, then west to Military Trail.

There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on PGA Boulevard 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 22, and 8:30 a.m., to 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, through Friday, Dec. 23, for final restriping and placement of traffic monitoring devices on the road, and work on the median and shoulders. The work schedule will determine which lanes are closed.

Four of six lanes of Military Trail underneath I-95 will be closed 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, through Wednesday, Nov. 24, for girder placement.  The contractor is placing girders on the overpass for the new southbound lanes of I-95. Two lanes in each direction will be closed throughout the work.  When girders are being placed over the southbound lanes of Military Trail, traffic will be moved to one northbound lane.  When crews place the girders above the northbound lanes of Military Trail, traffic will be switched to one southbound lane.  This same traffic pattern will be used the week of Monday, Nov. 29, when six girders are placed on the Military Trail overpass for the new northbound lanes of I-95. Throughout both operations, at least one lane will remain open at all times.

One inside lane in each direction of Military Trail underneath the I-95 overpass will be closed, 24 hours a day, Monday, Nov. 22, through Sunday, Nov. 28, for bridge foundation work.   These lanes will be closed upon completion of the girder placement for southbound I-95.

The northbound outside lane on I-95 between PGA Boulevard and the Central Boulevard overpass will be closed 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, through Thursday, Nov. 11, for shoulder work.

The northbound and southbound outside lanes on Military Trail underneath the I-95 overpass will undergo periodic daytime and nighttime closures Monday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 14, for bridge foundation work.  Upon completion of the work in the outside lanes, the inside lanes in both directions will undergo a full closure for work in the median underneath the overpass.

The northbound entrance ramp to I-95 from Military Trail will close at 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, through Wednesday, Nov. 24, for reconstruction.  Message boards have been posted to direct motorists to the I-95 northbound entrance ramp on PGA Boulevard.

Two outside southbound lanes on I-95 will be closed nightly, Sunday, June 13 through Thursday, June 17, to pave the road. The contractor will close one lane at 9 p.m. and close a second lane at 11 p.m. One lane will reopen at 5 a.m. and both will reopen by 6 a.m. each morning.

The northbound and southbound on-ramps to I-95 from westbound PGA Boulevard will be closed, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Wednesday, June 16, and Thursday, June 17, for barrier wall placement. Motorists going north on I-95 should use the northbound entrance at Military Trail.

At the southern end of the traffic shift, I-95 opens to five southbound lanes, including the HOV lane. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution through this area.

Northbound and southbound travel lanes on Military Trail approaching I-95 will be reduced and rerouted, 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Wednesday, October 14 and October 15. Northbound and southbound Military Trail, approaching the I-95 overpass will be reduced to one lane.  Northbound traffic will be rerouted onto the southbound side of the roadway. Only one lane northbound and southbound will be opened in this area.  FHP will be on-site to assist motorists.

There will be a full closure of eastbound PGA Boulevard in the vicinity of I-95, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5, for bridge work. Eastbound traffic will be detoured northbound to Military Trail, eastbound to Kyoto Gardens Drive, southbound onto Alternate A1A and onto eastbound PGA Boulevard.  Northbound and southbound I-95 exit ramps onto eastbound PGA Boulevard will be closed.  Motorists will be forced to exit onto westbound Military Trail and follow the detour route.  Only one westbound travel lane will remain open, in this area. If the work cannot be completed on these nights, the work and closure will be rescheduled for the evening of Monday, June 8.

The Florida Turnpike will also be closing all northbound travel lanes at PGA Boulevard to S.R. 70 in Ft. Pierce, unrelated to this project.  Motorists will be detoured onto PGA Boulevard eastbound toward I-95.  Motorists must travel northbound on Military Trail to access the I-95 northbound entrance ramp, which is located on the left hand side.  The PGA Boulevard detour route will be located on the right hand side of Military Trail.  Electronic message boards will be in place to alert motorists.

There will be intermittent closures to the outside travel lane(s) on Military Trail, in the
vicinity of the I-95 overpass, around-the-clock, Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, for bridgewidening and pile driving activities. One travel lane, of three, will remain open at all times.

The inside travel lane on eastbound and westbound PGA Boulevard will remain closed, in the vicinity of I-95, at all times, for bridge work.

On Thursday, April 30, workers will remove an overhead sign on southbound I-95 in the vicinity of Military Trail. One lane will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. A second lane will be closed at 10:30 a.m. and access to southbound I-95 at Indiantown Road / S.R. 706, Donald Ross Road and Military Trail will be closed for approximately 45 minutes some time after midnight. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible. While this work is underway, Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), will assist motorists
through the work zone. The speed limit will be reduced to 20 mph through the work zone during this operation. One travel lane and southbound on ramps will reopen at some point after midnight. A second lane will reopen at 5 a.m. and the third lane will reopen by 6 a.m. All lanes will remain open during daytime hours. Local traffic is being asked to enter southbound I-95 from PGA Boulevard. Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 will not be affected.

Workers will close one lane at 9 p.m. and close the second lane at 11:30 p.m. One lane will reopen 5 a.m. and the second lane will reopen at 6 a.m. All lanes will remain open during daytime hours.


There will be a partial closure of the PGA Blvd. northbound and southbound I-95 ramps. Two lanes will be closed to enter and exit the interstate, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday, October 19 through Thursday, October 23, for restriping and the positioning of barrier wall. One lane will remain open at all times.
