Project Limits: State Road (SR) A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from south of Lake Avenue to north of Ibis Way
Project Purpose: : The Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) project will extend the service life of the pavement, enhance roadway safety, and improve operating characteristics of the corridor.

The in-person public meeting will take place at the Tideline Ocean Resort located at 2842 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, FL 33480, and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Estimated Construction Cost: $3.5 Million
Scope of Work:
- Repave the existing roadway
- Widen the paved shoulder to 5-feet
- Replace the existing 5-foot asphalt sidewalk with a 6-foot concrete sidewalk
- Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps to meet with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards
- Upgrade signing and pavement markings
- Upgrade lighting, and pedestrian signals at Lake Avenue, at the mid-block crossing of Raymond Floyd Golf Course, and at Phipps Ocean Park
- Improve drainage as needed
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community
- Temporary lane closures will be required during daytime hours:
- Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times
- No detours are necessary
