Scope of Work:

  • Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of infrastructure.
  • Pavement marking “sharrows” will be added to provide bicycle access.
  • Adjust manhole tops and valves.
  • Reconstruct damaged sidewalks and pull boxes.
  • Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps to add detectible warning surfaces at the following intersections:
  • US 1
  • 18th Avenue South
  • 15th Avenue South
  • 14th Avenue South
  • 13th Avenue South
  • 12th Avenue South
  • 11th Avenue South
  • 10th Avenue South

Construction Impacts:

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the impacts of construction on the community.
  • Temporary lane closures will be done during non-peak hours on non-event days.
  • Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during construction.
