Project Limits: State Road (SR) 710/Beeline Highway from Northlake Boulevard to SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard and Florida’s Turnpike bridge over SR 710/Beeline Highway in the cities of Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, and West Palm Beach.

Scope of Work: Project improvements consist of widening SR 710/Beeline Highway from Northlake Boulevard to SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, replacing and widening the Florida’s Turnpike bridge over SR 710/Beeline Highway, constructing an at-grade partial Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) at the intersection of SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard, adding sidewalks and bicycle lanes on both sides of SR 710/Beeline Highway, upgrading railroad crossings, drainage, signage, lighting, signalization and pavement markings throughout project limits, and upgrading Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
SR 710/Beeline Highway from SR 708/Blue Heron to Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction daily, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Jog Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction daily, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Haverhill Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway from Military Trail to Blue Heron Boulevard will have one lane closed in each direction daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway from Northlake Boulevard to Jog Road will have one lane closed in each direction from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday through Thursday for drainage operations.
SR 710/Beeline Highway lane widths are reduced, and westbound traffic has been shifted to the median from just east of the Turnpike to Blue Heron Boulevard to safely facilitate construction activities.
SR 710/Beeline Highway will have one southeast-bound lane closed daily, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The SR 710/Beeline Highway northwest ramp to eastbound Northlake Boulevard has been temporarily closed to safely facilitate this phase of construction and is anticipated to reopen in Fall 2025. During this closure, motorists can continue on SR 710/Beeline Highway and turn right at the light to access eastbound Northlake Boulevard.
The southeast SR 710/Beeline Highway left turn lane to eastbound SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard will be closed around-the-clock through Aug. 31.
Detour:
Motorists traveling to eastbound SR 798/Blue Heron Boulevard will be detoured via southeast SR 710/Beeline Highway, north on SR 809/Military Trail, and east on SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard.
Access for emergency and first responder vehicles will be maintained following the detour route. Signage will be posted along the detour route to assist motorists.
Access to all businesses on SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard will remain open during this work.
SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard Traffic Impact:
SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard eastbound from SR 710/Beeline Highway to Military Trail will have one outside lane closed daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Northlake Boulevard Traffic Impact:
Northlake Boulevard, west of SR 710/Beeline Highway, will have one lane closed in each direction, as needed, 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Northlake Boulevard, east of SR 710/Beeline Highway, will have one lane closed in each direction, as needed, 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The SR 710/Beeline Highway northwest-bound access to eastbound Northlake Boulevard has been temporarily shifted to safely facilitate this phase of construction. The current movement is anticipated to reopen in Fall 2025. During this phase, from SR 710/Beeline Highway northwest-bound, motorists can turn right at the intersection to access eastbound Northlake Boulevard.
Northlake Boulevard lanes in each direction at the SR 710/Beeline Highway intersection have been temporarily shifted and U-turns in both directions are not available to safely facilitate this phase of construction. This new traffic pattern will remain in place until Summer 2025.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, the intersection of CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard and SR 710/Beeline Highway will be closed around-the-clock to Sunday, Aug. 10, for rail replacement and signalization activities.
Detour:
Motorists traveling east on CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard will be detoured west on CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard, south onto Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, east onto SR 80/Southern Boulevard, and then north onto SR 809/Military Trail to CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard.
Motorists traveling to CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard west of the SR 710/Beeline Highway intersection will be detoured south on SR 809/Military Trail, west onto SR 80/Southern Boulevard, north onto Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, and east to CR 809A/Northlake Boulevard.
Motorists may also use Coconut Boulevard, Orange Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, 60th Street, US 441/SR 7, or SR 704/Okeechobee Boulevard as additional alternate routes.
Signage will be posted along the detour route to assist motorists, and access for emergency and first responder vehicles will be maintained during this work.
SR 91/Florida’s Turnpike Traffic Impact:
SR 91/Florida’s Turnpike, from south of the SR 710/Beeline Highway overpass to just north of the SR 710/Beeline Highway overpass, will have one lane closed in each direction, nightly, 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday, through August 2025.
SR 91/Florida’s Turnpike southbound lanes, from south of the SR 710/Beeline Highway overpass to just north of the SR 710/Beeline Highway overpass, have been temporarily shifted to safely facilitate this phase of construction. This new traffic pattern will remain in place until Early 2026.
