Current Construction Lane Closures in Southern Palm Beach County

Mar 5 - Mar 12, 2021

NE 5th Avenue Sidewalk Improvements on behalf of the City of Boca Raton

Traffic Impact:

The southbound lane may be closed, intermittently, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for construction activities such as concrete pouring for new sidewalk. During this time, a flagging operation will be used to direct traffic northbound and southbound.

The contractor is expected to work within one block at a time. Currently, the contractor plans to work between the blocks of NE 5th Court and Boca Raton Road (just north of Palmetto Park Road) on the south end of the project limits through early March. Please note the contractor may move between these blocks as needed. If the sidewalk needs to be closed within one block, a pedestrian detour will be in place with signage.
