Current I-95 lane closures in Palm Beach County

October 22 - October 29, 2021

I-95 from south of SW 10th Street in the City of Deerfield Beach to south of Glades Road in the City of Boca Raton (95 Express Phase 3B-1)

Restrictions:

I-95 northbound will have three lanes closed, Sunday through Thursday nights, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

I-95 southbound will have three lanes closed, Monday through Thursday nights, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

I-95 southbound will have two lanes closed, Sunday night, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., until 5:30 a.m.

I-95 northbound Express Lanes at Sample Road and SW 18th Street will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

I-95 southbound Express Lanes at Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 southbound, Hillsboro Boulevard, Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Hillsboro Boulevard, Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Hillsboro Blvd, Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

Please note that ramp closures will be performed as needed per nighttime construction operations; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


I-95 from south of Glades Road to south of Linton Boulevard and SR 808/Glades Road from Renaissance Way to West University Drive in the Cities of Boca Raton and Delray Beach (95 Express Phase 3B-2)

Restrictions:

I-95 will have up to four lanes closed in each direction nightly as needed for paving, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and the third and fourth lane will close at 10 p.m.

I-95 Southbound from Spanish River to Glades Rd is in a new traffic pattern with traffic shifted to the outside to allow for median construction, through February 2022.

I-95 northbound from Yamato Road to Linton Boulevard is in a new traffic pattern with traffic shifted to the outside to allow for median construction, through February 2022.

I-95 northbound lanes, from Glades Road to Yamato Road, are shifted to the outside to allow for median construction, through February 2022.

Partial Weekend Ramp Closure Notice: The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Glades Road will undergo a full closure for new ramp construction tie-in, beginning 11 p.m., Saturday night, Oct. 23 through 5 a.m., Monday morning Oct. 25. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 southbound and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached.

Partial Weekend Ramp Closure Advanced Notice: The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Glades Road will undergo a full closure for new ramp construction tie-in, beginning 11 p.m., Saturday night, Nov. 13 through 5 a.m., Monday morning Nov. 15. I-95 Milling and Resurfacing from North of Gateway Boulevard to Lantana Road in the City of Boynton Beach and Town of Lantana

I-95 Traffic Impact:

I-95 in each direction will have intermittent shoulder closures, daily and nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday.

I-95 southbound may have up to four lanes closed nightly 9:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Two lanes of I-95 will be closed at 9:30 p.m., three lanes will be closed at 11 p.m., and four lanes will be closed at 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Gateway Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly as needed, Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road. Motorists can access Gateway Boulevard by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound via Congress Avenue then south to Gateway Boulevard. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard. Eastbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Gateway Boulevard. Motorists can then access Hypoluxo Road by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound to Congress Avenue and north to Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp to Lantana Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Lantana Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. Eastbound Lantana Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Motorists traveling westbound on Gateway Boulevard will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. Eastbound Gateway Boulevard traffic will be detoured via US-1/Federal Highway and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Lantana Road. Eastbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Lantana Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Lantana Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road. Motorists can then access Lantana Road by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound to Congress Avenue and north to Lantana Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

Please note that ramp closures will be closed as needed per paving production; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time. Detour signage will be in place and FHP will be on site to assist motorists.


SR 704/Okeechobee Boulevard Eastbound to I-95 Southbound Ramp Improvements Project

Traffic Impact:

Advanced notice: Eastbound Okeechobee Boulevard, just west of I-95, will have up to two lanes closed nightly as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Sunday night, Nov. 7.

Ramp Impact:

Advanced notice: The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Okeechobee Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 11 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Sunday night, Nov. 7 for temporary barrier wall installation. Motorists will be detoured via the westbound Okeechobee Boulevard to I-95 southbound entrance ramp via a U-turn movement just east of Australian Avenue. Signage will be in place to assist motorists.

Pedestrian Impact:

Advanced Notice: To ensure pedestrian safety, the south sidewalk along eastbound Okeechobee Boulevard at I-95 will be closed beginning 9 p.m., Sunday night, Nov. 7 through spring 2022. Pedestrians will be detoured to the north sidewalk via Church Street and Tamarind Avenue.


I-95 Lighting and Roadway Improvements Project from south of State Road 706/Indiantown Road to County Road 708/SE Bridge Road

Restrictions:

The shoulder in both directions of I-95 will be intermittently closed Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through November 2021 for temporary asphalt placement, and conduit and light pole foundations. During this time the exit ramp will still be open as motorists can use the inside left lane.

One lane in either direction of I-95 at the Indiantown Road interchange may be closed Sunday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 28 night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway work.

The outside ramp lane of the northbound I-95 to eastbound Indiantown Road exit ramp will be closed Monday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install light pole foundations.

One lane in each direction of Indiantown Road from the Turnpike entrance/exit to Island Way will be closed Monday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install light pole foundations and shoulder widening.

Eastbound Indiantown Road to southbound I-95 on ramp will be intermittently closed Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 for concrete pours. Advance notice and detour signage will be in place. Motorists heading east on Indiantown Road to southbound I-95 should continue east on Indiantown Road to Island Way, make a U-turn at Island Way, and head west on Indiantown Road to merge onto the westbound Indiantown Road to southbound I-95 on ramp.
