Current I-95 lane closures in Palm Beach County

I-95 from south of SW 10th Street in the City of Deerfield Beach to south of Glades Road in the City of Boca Raton (95 Express Phase 3B-1)

Restrictions:

I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday nights, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

I-95 northbound Express Lanes at Sample Road will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

I-95 northbound Express Lanes at Sample Road will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday night, April 30 until 10 a.m., Sunday morning, May 2 for paving, tubular marker installation and pavement marking activities.

I-95 northbound, from Hillsboro Boulevard to Palmetto Park Road, will have three inside lanes closed overnight, 11 p.m. Friday night, April 30 until 9 a.m., Saturday morning, May 1 for paving and pavement marking activities.

I-95 northbound, from Hillsboro Boulevard to Palmetto Park Road, will have two inside lanes closed overnight from 10 p.m., Saturday night, May 1 until 9 a.m., Sunday morning, May 2 for tubular marker installation and pavement marking activities.

Advanced notice: I-95 northbound Express Lanes at Sample Road will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday night, May 7 until 10 a.m., Sunday morning, May 9 for paving, tubular marker installation and pavement marking activities.

Advanced notice: I-95 northbound, from Camino Real Boulevard to south of Glades Road, will have three inside lanes closed overnight, 11 p.m., Friday night, May 7 until 9 a.m., Saturday morning, May 8, for paving and pavement marking activities.

Advanced notice: I-95 northbound, from Camino Real Boulevard to south of Glades Road, will have two inside lanes closed overnight, 10 p.m., Saturday night May 8 until 9 a.m., Sunday morning May 9 for tubular marker installation and pavement marking activities.

Arterial Road Impact:

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Camino Real at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 southbound, Hillsboro Boulevard, Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Hillsboro Blvd, Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10th Street will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Hillsboro Blvd and Military Trail. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

Please note that ramp closures will be performed as needed per nighttime construction operations; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


I-95 from south of Glades Road to south of Linton Boulevard and SR 808/Glades Road from Renaissance Way to West University Drive in the Cities of Boca Raton and Delray Beach (95 Express Phase 3B-2)

Restrictions:

I-95 will have up to four lanes closed in each direction nightly as needed for paving, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and the third and fourth lane will close at 10 p.m.

I-95 northbound from Yamato Road to Linton Boulevard is in a new traffic pattern with traffic shifted to the outside to allow for median construction. This configuration is anticipated to be in place through summer 2021.

I-95 Northbound Full Closure Notice: I-95 northbound at Yamato Road will be closed to traffic overnight Sunday, May 2, Tuesday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 5 so that crews can safely demolish the Clint Moore Road bridge over I-95 northbound lanes. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 10 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning. Motorists will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Yamato Road, Congress Avenue, Peninsula Corp. Drive and the I-95/Congress Avenue interchange. The I-95 northbound entrance ramps from Yamato Road and Spanish River Boulevard will also be closed during this activity. The week of May 9 will be used as contingency if needed. I-95 Southbound Full Closure Notice: I-95 southbound lanes at Congress Avenue will be closed to traffic overnight, Monday, May 3 and Thursday, May 6 so that crews can safely demolish the Clint Moore Road bridge over I-95 southbound lanes. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 10 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Congress Avenue, Peninsula Corp. Drive, Congress Avenue and Yamato Road. The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Peninsula Corp. I-95 Southbound Full Closure Advanced Notice: I-95 southbound lanes at Congress Avenue will be closed to traffic overnight, Sunday, May 9 through Thursday, May 13 so that crews can safely demolish the Clint Moore Road bridge over I-95 southbound lanes. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 10 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Congress Avenue, Peninsula Corp. Drive, Congress Avenue and Yamato Road. The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Peninsula Corp. Drive will also be closed during this activity. The week of May 16 will be used as contingency if needed. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached.

Glades Road Impact:

Westbound Glades Road, between NW 22nd Way and West University Drive, is in a new traffic pattern with traffic shifted inside towards the median to allow for outside widening.

Westbound Glades Road, between NW 22nd Way and West University Drive, will have one lane closed daily, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Westbound Glades Road, between NW 22nd Way and West University Drive, will have one lane closed nightly at 9 p.m. and two lanes closed at 10 p.m., until 6 a.m., Sunday through Saturday.

Clint Moore Road Impact:

The Clint Moore Road bridge over I-95 is closed completely for reconstruction through summer 2022. Westbound traffic is being detoured via NW 2ndAvenue, Yamato Road and Congress Avenue. Eastbound traffic is beingdetoured via Park of Commerce Boulevard, Congress Avenue, Yamato Road and NW 2nd Avenue. Local neighborhood access is maintained; only the approaches and bridge over I-95 are closed.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic will be detoured via Powerline Road and Jog Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Spanish River Boulevard will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday through Friday.Traffic will be detoured via I-95 north, Yamato Road east, US-1 and Spanish River Boulevard. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Congress Avenue and Peninsula Corp. Drive will be closed nightly as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Congress Avenue will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Linton Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed,11 p.m. until 5 am., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Glades Road east, N. Federal Highway and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Yamato Road will be closed nightly as needed, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue, Peninsula Corp Drive, Congress Avenue and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Glades Road west, Powerline Road and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Yamato Road/Spanish River Boulevard will be closed nightly as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Yamato Road east, Federal Highway/U.S. 1 south and Glades Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Peninsula Corp Drive will be closed nightly as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday. Traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.


I-95 Milling and Resurfacing from North of Gateway Boulevard to Lantana Road in the City of Boynton Beach and Town of Lantana

Ramp Impact:

I-95 in each direction will have intermittent shoulder closures, daily and nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday.

I-95 southbound may have up to four lanes closed nightly 9:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Two lanes of I-95 will be closed at 9:30 p.m., three lanes will be closed at 11 p.m., and four lanes will be closed at 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m.

Ramp Impact:

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Gateway Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly as needed, Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road. Motorists can access Gateway Boulevard by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound via Congress Avenue then south to Gateway Boulevard. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard. Eastbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Gateway Boulevard. Motorists can then access Hypoluxo Road by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound to Congress Avenue and north to Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp to Lantana Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Lantana Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. Eastbound Lantana Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 southbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Gateway Boulevard will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Motorists traveling westbound on Gateway Boulevard will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. Eastbound Gateway Boulevard traffic will be detoured via US-1/Federal Highway and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Hypoluxo Road will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Westbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Congress Avenue and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Lantana Road. Eastbound Hypoluxo Road traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway/US-1 and the I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Lantana Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Lantana Road will be closed nightly, as needed, 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for milling and resurfacing operations. Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Hypoluxo Road. Motorists can then access Lantana Road by traveling eastbound to US-1/Federal Highway or westbound to Congress Avenue and north to Lantana Road. FHP will be onsite to assist motorists.

Please note that ramp closures will be closed as needed per paving production; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time. Detour signage will be in place and FHP will be on site to assist motorists.


I-95 Bridge Beam Replacement at 10th Avenue North in the City of Lake Worth Beach

Restrictions:

This project was Final Accepted by the Florida Department of Transportation on Friday, April 16, 2021.

I-95 Lighting and Roadway Improvements Project from south of State Road 706/Indiantown Road to County Road 708/SE Bridge Road

Restrictions:

The shoulder in both directions of I-95 will be intermittently closed Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Aug. 2021 for temporary asphalt placement, landscaping relocation efforts, and conduit and light pole foundation installations.

One lane in either direction of I-95 at the Indiantown Road interchange may be closed Sunday through Thursday night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to maintain the barrier wall installed for the traffic diversion.

One lane in each direction of Indiantown Road from the Turnpike entrance/exit to Island Way will be closed Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install light pole foundations. During this time, shoulder closures along I-95 ramps to and from Indiantown Road may occur.
