Current Construction Lane Closures in Northeast Broward County

Federal Highway/US 1 Mobility Improvement Project from Sample Road to the Broward/Palm Beach County Line in Lighthouse Point and Deerfield Beach

Restrictions:

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, no lane closures are permitted from Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29.

One lane in each direction may be closed from Sample Road to the Broward/Palm Beach County Line, 7 a.m. to 5p.m, Monday through Friday, for roadway widening, sidewalk installation, ADA ramps and curb repairs.

Restrictions:

Beginning, Friday December 4, access to SE 10th Street, west of Federal Highway will be closed for approximately 48 hours. Federal Highway will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic at all times.

Drivers traveling eastbound on SE 10th Street who wish to continue across Federal Highway, will turn left onto SE 6thAvenue, right onto SE 7th Street/7th Court, right onto SE 12th Avenue and then left onto SE 10th Street.

Drivers traveling eastbound on SE 10th Street who wish to travel northbound on Federal Highway, will turn left onto SE 6th Avenue, right onto SE 7th Street and then left onto Federal Highway.

Drivers traveling eastbound on SE 10th Street who wish to travel southbound on Federal Highway, will turn right onto SE 2ndAvenue, turn left onto NE 54th Street and then turn right onto Federal Highway.

Drivers traveling westbound on SE 10th Street who wish to continue across Federal Highway, will turn right onto SE 12thAvenue, left onto SE 7th Court/SE 7th Street, left onto SE 6thAvenue and then right onto SE 10th Street.

Drivers traveling northbound on US 1/Federal Highway who wish to travel westbound on SE 10th Street, will turn left onto NE 54thStreet, right onto SE 2nd Avenue and then left or right onto SE 10th Street.


Oakland Park Mobility Improvement Project from NW 136th Avenue to North Atlantic Boulevard in Sunrise, Lauderhill and Fort Lauderdale

Restrictions:

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, no lane closures are permitted from Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29.

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Inverrary Boulevard West from Oakland Park Boulevard to NW 42nd Street, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for roadway widening and sidewalk construction.

One westbound lane along Oakland Park Boulevard at Inverrary Boulevard West will be closed, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for roadway widening and sidewalk construction.

One westbound lane in each direction along Environ Boulevard from Inverrary Boulevard West to La Mirage entrance will be closed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for roadway widening and sidewalk construction.

The Oakland Park Boulevard Access Road from the north side of NE 32nd Avenue to the south side of NE 32nd Avenue may have intermittent closures, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for cleaning, litter removal and asphalt coring.

One lane in each direction along NE 32nd Street from NE 26th Avenue to NE 30th Avenue will be closed intermittently, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for roadway widening.

State Road 838/Sunrise Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project in Fort Lauderdale

Restrictions:

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, no lane closures are permitted from Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29.

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently at the Sunrise Boulevard and NW 16th Avenue intersection, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday for concrete removal and replacement, drainage installation, drill shaft operations and directional boring.

Beginning, Monday December 7, access to NW 16th Avenue will be closed from Sunrise Boulevard to NW 9th Place for approximately 10 days.

Detour Route:

Drivers traveling eastbound along Sunrise Boulevard wishing to turn right onto NW 16th Avenue will turn right onto NW 17thAvenue or NW 16th Terrace and turn left onto NW 9th Place to access NW 16th Avenue.

Drivers traveling westbound along Sunrise Boulevard wishing to turn left onto NW 16th Avenue will turn left onto NW 13thAvenue, turn right onto NW 9th Street, turn left onto NW 15th Avenue, and turn right onto NW 8th Street to access NW 16thAvenue.

Drivers traveling southbound on NW 15th Avenue wishing to turn left onto NW 16th Avenue will turn left onto Sunrise Boulevard, turn right onto NW 13th Avenue, turn right onto NW 9th Street, turn left onto NW 15th Avenue, and turn right on NW 8th Street to access NW 16th Avenue.

Drivers traveling northbound along NW 16th Avenue wishing to access Sunrise Boulevard will turn left onto NW 9th Place, turn right onto NW 16th Terrace, and then turn right to access Sunrise Boulevard.


State Road 845/Powerline Road Improvement Project in Fort Lauderdale

Restrictions:

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, no lane closures are permitted from Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29.

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Powerline Road at NW 59th Court, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for roadway widening.
