Scope of Work:
- Mill and resurface the existing pavement
- Reconstruct sub-standard curb ramps and upgrade detectable warning surface
- Reconstruct sidewalk with steep cross slope and areas with significant cracking, uneven surfaces, or trip hazards
- Adjust Storm Drain Manholes
- Closure of four driveways
- Install pedestrian railing east of NW 70 Ave
- Replace and upgrade all deficient ground mounted signs per the latest design standards
- Replace and upgrade all pavement markings per the latest design standards
- Replace pull boxes (traffic signal and lighting) within the limits of sidewalk reconstruction
- Replace and upgrade all pedestrian detectors (pushbuttons) to meet current standards
- Replace damaged mast arms
- Replace loops for the two traffic monitoring sites (860020 & 860485)
- Adjustment of Utility Manholes and Valves within the limits of milling and resurfacing and sidewalk reconstruction
- Evaluate the inlets and pipes along the eastbound outer lane adjacent to the canal
- Inlet top replacements
- Signalization Lighting Retrofit (6 Intersections)
Construction Impacts:
- No daytime or peak-hour lane closures on Broward Boulevard
