Construction of a Shared Use Path along north side of Taft Street from SR 7/US 441 to N. 40thAvenue
Installation of new light poles behind Shared Use Path
Drainage improvements will be constructed along the Shared Use Path
Construction Impacts:
Work will be done in phases to reduce the impacts of construction in the community
The existing number of lanes will be maintained during peak hours on Orange Drive
Lane closures only permitted during off-peak hours along Taft Street
Pedestrian detours will be provided to maintain connectivity
Access to all properties along Orange Drive and Taft Street will be maintained
Public Notice:
The design public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. and will be offered in-person and virtually.
In-Person: The meeting will take place at the City of Hollywood’s City Hall located at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33020 and consist of a formal presentation followed by an open discussion.
