A Hybrid Public Meeting Was Held On: Wednesday, December 16, 2021, and was offered in two different formats: virtual and in-person.
The public meeting took place at 6:00 PM and consisted of a formal presentation followed by an open discussion.
The virtual (online) public meeting took place via GoToWebinar.
The in-person Public Meeting took place at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pembroke Pines-Sheridan Street located at 14651 NW 20th Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028. The latest social distancing guidelines were followed.

Estimated Construction Cost: $11 Million
Scope of Work:
- Roadway widening to provide continuous auxiliary lanes in each direction of traffic
- Repaving and restriping the existing asphalt
- Constructing a new outside shoulder
- Replacement of signage impacted by construction
- New pavement markings
- Replacement of lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and drainage impacted by the roadway widening
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community
- Lane closures, ramp closures, and detours will occur during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic
- Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times during construction
