The in-person public meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn - Fort Lauderdale Airport located at 2905 Sheridan St, Hollywood, FL 33020. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Scope of Work:

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS

• Replace existing signalization strain pole system with mast arms
• Upgrade lighting at the intersection with Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures
• Extend the eastbound, westbound, and northbound left-turn lanes to provide additional storage
• Repaving the existing roadway
• Replacing and upgrading existing curb ramps to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards
• Upgrading signing and pavement markings
• Upgrading pedestrian signals and detectors

Construction Impacts:

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community
• Lane closures, and detours will occur during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic
• Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times during construction
